She was born in Eskişehir in 1987. She graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration. In her master's thesis at Kocaeli University's Women's Studies program, she studied unpaid women's labor during the COVID-19 period. Her curiosity about whose labor keeps life going during crises has remained ever since.

She has been working in the fields of women's rights, gender equality, local development, and civil society for approximately 10 years. She was among the founders of the Lotus Women's Solidarity and Life Association and developed its programs for 7 years. Following the February 6th earthquakes, her work in Adıyaman made feminist disaster preparedness and response one of her main areas of expertise. She objects to women being seen only as a "vulnerable group" in disasters; she believes they should be key actors in the process with their knowledge, organization, and decision-making power.

In recent years, she has been working intensely on disaster management, climate change, local development, women's empowerment, strategy, and international collaborations. She enjoys connecting seemingly disparate issues and transforming a need she encounters in the field into a new program, partnership, or idea. She is not afraid to get lost in the pursuit of new ideas; in fact, she often particularly enjoys it. She loves children's books and does translations whenever she has the opportunity. She enjoys creating in a wide range of fields, from embroidery and sewing to strategy and policy development.

He is the co-founder, Chairman of the Board, and co-general coordinator of ÇemberDE. He is involved in all stages from coming up with a new idea to actually bringing that idea to life.
